Re: BN-20 Magenta only banding

Still no attachment (at least not visible on my ipad).

Regardless, it’s awfully soon to have damper problems. Do you have a 2 year warranty on the machine?

Can't see the attachment.

Usually it's the damper, yes. OEM inks?

Re: Not printing true black

Sign & Display preserves pure colors instead of simulating offset print. What are your heater settings? The best combination is 95 degrees F for PRINT heater and 104 degrees F for dryer. You shouldn't need to change anything unless it's really cold or really hot in the printing room. The fuzzy edges...

Re: setting up SP540V

Setting up a VersaCAMM is nothing special. It works right out of the box if the router network is configured right. You only need to set a fixed IP on the PC when using a crossover cable. Re: Pantone Library in VersaWorks

You can't change the system palette.

Re: Engraving glass on EGX 350

Hi. There’s no OEM rotary for the EGX-350.

For glass you need a rotating diamond scraper (OEM available, expensive tho) and a lubricating nozzle (third party, any tool supplier has it).

Brass is easy. You can either mill it (use a vacuum cleaner attachment) or use a standard diamond scraper.

Publish to PDF with X1a as your preset.

Set Sign & Display as your Color Management setting in VersaWorks.
