Re: Sticker material

I'm using a BN-20 so the profiles are just generic vinyl, will any of the other profiles for other machines work with the BN-20?

Re: Sticker material

Thanks Kai, I did lots of tests with Metamark MD-P leaving it to cure for well over 48 hours before cutting and I was still getting edge curl. The profile I use is generic vinyl which is what metamark specify but looking at the guidelines it says "Avoid cutting flush into the print if the artwork al...

Re: Sticker material

Forgot to add that the reason I use Metamark MD5 is that I don't get the problem of edge curling when cut.

Sticker material

Hi All, Can anyone tell me what material they use for print & cut stickers. I have been using Metamark MD5 for most things as I haven't got the finances to have multiple materials in stock but it is too thin and hard to handle for stickers and a few of my customers have complained that they are diff...

Re: corporate gifts etc.

Sorry, I'm near Winchester. I'm so used to doing things online that location isn't usually an issue.

corporate gifts etc.

Can anyone recommend a company that can print/supply corporate type gifts (pens, pencils, cups etc.), I will be reselling so will need trade prices if possible? I need someone that I can rely on but a google search comes up with millions of companies so it's a bit of a mine field.

Re: Destructible or void material for solvent print

I don't seem to be having any luck with printing on the void material, I can't seem to get the ink to adhere, it takes forever to dry and even then it rubs off easily. The only way I can think of doing it is to laminate the silver void material with clear vinyl and then print onto the clear vinyl, h...

Re: Destructible or void material for solvent print

Thanks Wooley, I have just given them a call and they said that people have used it for solvent print but obviously it isn't covered for use on my BN-20 so there are no profiles etc. but I think it will be worth a try.

Destructible or void material for solvent print

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there is a destructible or void type material for use with ecosolvent printers? My customer is only after a small quantity and would prefer a matt silver finish but is there anything at all that would be suitable?

TIA.

Card cutting

I have just been asked by a customer if I can do invitations with an intricate cut out, ie like the laser cut card invites that are about at the moment. Is there any way I can do this on my BN20? The problems I can see is that the card won't have a backing sheet and also the feed position of the car...
