Fusion 360 post-processor

Is there a post-processor available for Fusion 360 to drive an MDX-500? Currently using VCarve Pro, but I've recently got a 3D printer and have started using F360 for design, would be interesting to be able to use it for the MDX as well. Thanks.

Re: Primer for anodised aluminium (LEF)

Yeah, I take it you bought it some while ago? I contacted QPS, the Nazdar distributor, and they said they don't do it any more (possibly Nazdar don't make it any more?) Or are you buying it somewhere else?

Re: Primer for anodised aluminium (LEF)

Thanks, I would be interested in the SEM for a different job, assuming it also works well on acrylic type materials? Please PM me some details. Any idea where to get AFTC Primer 101 in the UK? Do you sell it? Found a Belgian site, not sure if they deliver to UK yet! also, has anyone found a use for ...

Primer for anodised aluminium (LEF)

Can anyone recommend a decent primer for UV printing onto anodised aluminium? Tried Fragrant Print Bond which helps, as does a matt lacquer, but it's still easily possible to scratch off the print! (Using EUV4 inks) I've seen that SEM one recommended, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available in...

Re: automatic generation of cut marks

why not generate the artwork and the cut data as separate files? There are a number of command-line tools to automate the overlaying of one PDF file over another (merging them, effectively). The normal use is to add watermarks, etc, to documents but it should work for your purpose too.

Re: CutStudio Plugins

I gave up with Cut Studio years ago! Fortunately the newer cutters can operate with VersaWorks (if you also have a Roland printer installed), either on a dedicated Windows machine (which you can run headless & connect to via Screen Sharing on your Mac) or via Parallels on your Mac.

Re: Variable Data - Drawback!

Variable Data is a great tool for quick & simple tasks but has a lot of limitations. Both Illustrator & InDesign offer data-driven fields which might be worth looking into. I generally go down the route of scripting in Illustrator which gives you unlimited control over layout but obviously needs a b...

Re: LEF blurred printing

IMG_6197 (1).JPG I did the CMYK blocks earlier as I read that suggestion from you on another thread, that test comes out perfectly. I have had a quick look at the belt & double gear, belt looks fine, double gear looks like it's missing a couple of teeth though, I can't imagine it's meant to be like...

it looks like the size of the stepped/blurred print area is the same as the distance the total print is undersized by... is it possible the table is snagging somehow at this point as it moves from the front to the back of the machine? If so, how would I check/correct? clean belts, cogs, etc, look fo...
