Re: Ink starving after long prints Vs

It sounds more ink supply than electrical, possibly the pumps aren't working correctly.

Which Damper did you change A or H in the diagram?

Does a clean bring the channel back?

If electrical then the head cables are likely the initial thing to look at.

Re: MDX 540A Windows 10 Home driver Installation Error

It does look like either a faulty switch or something with the connection, does the machine show up as a printer? and does it give any messages form the USB is attached?

Also make sure that your using a direct connection USB, no hubs or extenders.

Re: Error - The connection to the printer has been released

If you mean on the BN-20, then it means that the USB connection has dropped, ensure you aren't using a hub or an extender and are just using a direct connection.

Re: MDX 540A Windows 10 Home driver Installation Error

It's because your using an ARM based system, you cannot use x64 drivers. The 64bit drivers have to be ARM based.

You might be able to use a 32bit driver as there is some support for this, but this is untested.

Re: Cut Studio Coreldraw 2020

CorelDraw is 2020 is not supported as yet, Japan are currently redeveloping the plugin for it.

In the meantime you can just print directly from Corel or use CutStudio without CorelDraw.

Re: Transfering VersaWorks setting to new PC?

The latest version gives you a host of new features, for instance being able to edit and add cutlines to a pdf directly in the RIP, adding spot channels if you have White or Metallic in your system and RIP times are greatly improved as it's now native 64bit.

Re: Transfering VersaWorks setting to new PC?

Install the BN-20 Windows driver and the utility,, ensure this works prior to VersaWorks, then use the initialise application function to clear the memory of VersaWorks, then run VersaWorks again and choose USB and connect to the BN-20. I guess also that you are using an older edition of VersaWorks,...

Re: Ink starving after long prints Vs

It's usually damper, captop, head, ink line, or cartridge bay issues, I see them more often on bulk systems than cartridge based, usually due to the tanks being too low.

Re: Hi

A vector is a line drawing, which can be scaled to any size without the loss of quality, whereas an image is made of pixels.

In this instance a vectored version will just be a series of lines instead of a block image.
