Re: Roland Safety Key Connector? PNC-3200

Looking at the main parts finder the part is listed as "Supply End"

I have also looked through all the guides but there is no diagram of the part.

I will ask a question on our internal forum to see if anyone has a wiring map for the connector.

Re: Upgraded to Windows 10

When you are in the Roland@NET feature, change the site from Default to Japan, in the US you have to register the machine to update the software.

Re: Types of metal for LEF-12i

You can print on most coated metals, uncoated materials may also work but you may need some method of priming.

Re: Upgraded to Windows 10

You should be able to add a print driver in the printers area, then set the folder to print into.

Re: 0110 VP-540 Again :(

Normally the belt/pulleys would give you scan motor errors instead of encoider errors.

Re: Cyan smearing

Likely then a fault with the print carriage board.

Re: Roland Safety Key Connector? PNC-3200

The key - 23505678 CABLE-ASSY KEY MDX-500 is unique to the machine, the part may still be available, but likely only as old stock due to the age of the machine.

Re: Cyan smearing

Just checking, if you swap the head cable from the black for the cyan, does the issue change over to the black head?

Re: Buying Advice

Start of with flushing the lines, then replace the captops and fill with genuine ink.

This should then hopefully give you a base line to work from.

The wrong head installed error points to the print carriage board, which may be the cause of the cyan band that is printing also.
