Re: Roland DG annonunces series of Experience Days

I've been on these in the past and the training given by Roland has taught me so much.

Step & Repeat

Has anyone played with new Step & Repeat feature which appeared in the last VersaWorks update 4.6? It's in the Job drop down on the top menu bar. If you need to fill a panel with a repeat of a design it works really well.

Printer Enhancement Wish List

I'd love a button on my VersaUV printer to return the print to the origin when I forget to set it in the RIP. What would everyone else like to see added to their Roland printer?

Re: profile cutting after lamination

I do this opfen using VersaWork. I'll explain what I do and it might help you. 1. Print with crop marks enabled in the RIP and by selecting print only. 2. Remove the print and laminate leaving enough material at the back edge of the print for the rollers to grip and cut the extents for the image. 3....

Re: Screen's 'Widescreen 2011' event for commercial printers

I went last year and it was really good. The quality of the output is amazing on these flatbeds and they had a great selection of exotic substrate and applications including lenticular. Well worth a visit just to pick up ideas.
