Re: Printing on Phone Cover Problem

Copyright material aside, try printing white, then white>cmyk. this will give double coverage on white.
Or you can White (Overprint x2) then cmyk.

Re: Using CM-500 plotter with windows 10

The problem with a lot of adapters is they don't work how they should, since the chipsets in the converter cable doesn't quite translate correctly. You may need to try ones with different chipsets to find one that works.

Re: Solvent cleaning fluid

I would only use the proper roland cleaning fluid for anything that comes into contact with working parts of the machine, so wipers, captops heads etc. As for the rest, I would likely use IPA 99.9% on anything that would be a non issue, such as the bed, insides window etc.

Re: HEAD PROBLEM OR STATIC

That just might be the issue, I use MDF jigs on mine, most jigs made seem to be made from Foamex (Which cannot under any circumstances by laser cut as it pretty toxic when burned).

Re: HEAD PROBLEM OR STATIC

Ive never had a problem printing onto pens with my LEF-20 and EUV4, the static issues I get are as I manufacture all my own acrylic blanks (and jigs) and peeling off the protective film causes static. Ive never noticed an issue with any pens. But spidering out is definitely a static issue.

Re: HEAD PROBLEM OR STATIC

I get spidering on Acrylic, a quick wipe with 99.9% IPA and a microfibre cloth eliminates it completely.

EUV4 and food safety

As the title really, are the inks, once cured Food Safe?

Ive heard in the US Mimakis inks are, at least, Prop 65 compliant, but this sounds more like RoHS in the EU to me than a food safety test. Anyone got any further data on this?
