Re: EGX20 OR EGX30A

Hi Andy The EGX20 was designed primarily for plastic label/badge engraving. The EGX30A is faster at diamond engraving for things like aluminium trophy plates, so this would be my recommendation between the two. However, stretching to an EGX350 would give you a far more versatile engraver. This proba...

Worthwhile 3D printing

This clip has nothing to do with Roland DG, but I thought I would share it with you. There are many forms of 3D printers on the market. At Roland, we have always focussed on the subtractive approach to prototyping and model making. This is because we value the ability to work in many materials and r...

Re: Is there a template for the 2 new Christmas decorations?

Well done Mark!
Any chance of seeing a photo of the Christmas decorations? Personalised decorations are big business in the US, but availability in the UK has been a lot less.

Please send us a postcard from Barbados in January while you are resting on the proceeds of such a cracking good idea.

Re: PNC 2300 collet

We have done a little digging, and there are two collets. The first one, ZC233175 has a split to grip short tools. The other, 21655108 is a solid collet designed for top loading engraving cutters. The ZC233175 will suit you perfectly.

Re: PNC 2300 collet

All the original Roland collets are either solid, to act as a guide for top-loading cutters, or a split for tightening with a spanner. Only Techsfot collets have a screw in the side. I was under the impression our ZC233175 had a split, but now you have put doubt in my mind. I will ask a colleague to...

Re: PNC 2300 collet

Hi

I would have expected you to have got what you needed from either of those. If they are out of stock, I will check we have them in our warehouse in the morning. Which dealer do you normally work with?

Re: Custom Guitar Parts

What a brilliant idea. Has anyone tried the Metaza on metal/plastic plectrums?

Re: DR. ENGRAVE

Hi Richard I once bought a set of single line true type fonts. Well, they look like single line, but the lines overlap, so they appear to engrave twice. Have a look at http://www.mr-clipart.com/eu/anzeigen_font.php?art_id=2&seite=1&Anzahl=16, maybe they will allow you to do what you need from CorelD...

Re: VCARVE PRO6 + egx-600 NOSECONE ENGRAVING = 0 Z motion

Well done Richard! Not sick of you - yet. Actually, I appreciate your activity on the forum. I wouldn't like to see the forum overrun by print users. Can I ask you to forward your new 2D post processor to Vectric so they can add it to future builds of VCarve Pro? It will save others having the issue...
