Re: EGX-600 and Software

Well, I have learnt something about our forum today - sometimes there are 2 pages to a post... It has been a long time since I ran an engraver fron Corel, so my knowledge is a little rusty. from memory, the printer driver allows you to allocate colours to tools and then you can set speeds per colour...

Re: Hi fron Cornwall

Hi Woolly, welcome to the forum.

I wonder how many PC60 and 600s are still making money for people? I'm interested to know what you are using it for. Now you have the VS with the metallic option, do you think you will use the PC60 less?

Re: Ear we go

Have a look at http://www.rolanddga.com/gallery/medicalDental/. As well as prosthetics, there is an ...

Re: EGX-600 and Software

Hi Richard Yes, EngraveStudio was produced for us by Vectric, we were fortunate enough to recognise Vectric had a winning program early on. Being able to set a global % character increase/decrease was on the wish list, but there is a limit to even Roland's ability to influence software developers. T...

Re: EGX-600 and Software

Hi Richard. Welcome to the forum. Your comment about the included software not matching up to the quality of the machine, is why we introduced EngraveStudio with the EGX350 and 360. There are a number of very good engraving software packages around with direct support for the Roland range including ...

Not a bad shout, Josh. But wrong. You can see the details of the sub-Sahara road trip at http://www.roland.co.za/UntamedRoadshow/Blog.html.
