Re: Lightweight printing for model aircraft

Hi Alan,

I haven't seen it tried on your material, but you could try using a printable transfer system for this, being a transfer product the only added weight would be the application fluid and ink.

We have used a couple different products before for application on to stone, plaster and wood.

Re: Color Camm Pro PC-60 Vinyl Cutting problem

The machine is not compatible with Windows 7, Windows XP was the last operating system that worked with...

Re: VS540 freezes after ink cart change

Hi Chris,

What do you mean by keyboard lockout, was there a message box in VersaWorks stating timeout error? normally you should be able to replace the cartridge, click on retry and then the print should continue, sometimes pressing pause on and off will also start the machine running again.

Re: 540v Banding and dropping ink Problems

Hi Have you done the manual cleaning? and if you have do you notice a build up of Magenta ink in the Yellow captop? It sounds like ink is migrating to the other captop and could be pulled into the yellow line. If this is the case setting the correct capping position could solve it. Which reg marks a...

Re: Roland CX-24 Error Message

Hi Suzanne,

The error relates to the connection on the machine, are you using a parallel or serial cable to connect?

On the machine check the menu and ensure you are set to the correct type of conection.

Re: Ink Smudging

Hi Lizzie, Yes this is caused by the heads catching the media; normally we class it as head striking. This can be caused by a number of factors - Is the media kept in the same room as the machine and is the room tempurature controlled?, (the media is best kept at the same tempurature as the machine ...

Re: CUTTING STRIP - advice

To clean the cutter protection strip channel, use a cleaning swab, with some water dispersing spray or glue remover, this should break down any glue and then be ready for the replacement strip.

Re: Old Cutter(PNC-910) Newer Computer(OS 10.4)

Hi Tony, Most of the software for signmaking and connectivity to the non USB devices such as your PNC-910 are Windows based. You do however have a few options, you could get an intel based mac and run Parallel's or Bootcamp and then run a Windows based program, or use programs like NCS Magisign (a p...
