Re: New Roland BN-20 Very slow printing

Hi John,

First off which version of VersaWorks are you running?, if you have the latest (Version 4.6), you would be able to copy the draft 2 profile and then adjust the ink limits and speed settings accordingly.

Re: lost a thread about print speed

Hi John,

The feature in VersaWorks is called Custom Cut, you can set the page height to limit the amount of media per routine.

Re: Printing & cutting small circles

Once you have done the print and cut alignment, you can also slow down the cutting speed which will make the cut more accurate.

If you are finding that the cut wanders over a long length of material you could use the Custom Cut feature in VersaWorks.

Re: CX-24 Connection via USB to serial converter

Hi Paul, This could be down to the type of serial cable you are using, normally to connect the machine via serial to serial you would use a serial crossover cable, the way to test this would be on the other PC, just try with the serial cable direct. Motorcross Templates

Just had a call about a company looking to print and cut motorcross graphics and came across this site which supply ready made templates for various bikes and other vehicles.

Has anyone else come across any companies selling vectors like these?

Re: Orange Peel Effect

Hi, Which media are you using and what quality settings are you using? It could be that you need to lower the ink limits for the material. One thing to check is the head height that the machine is set to and that the full width scan is enabled, is the pattern still there if you print Uni-directional?

Re: Book shelf

Which vinyl did you use to wrap with? Seems to be a very smooth finish.
