Re: Print - Cut going out of alignment

Good to hear that your enjoying the VS.

The cutting accuracy should be okay for a couple of metres, the cut may drift out the further cut goes but the accuracy is +or- 1mm per metre of travel.

Re: Print - Cut going out of alignment

Hi Nick,

A few things to try.

1. Test the job on a different media, could just be the media slipping
2. Try the vacuum on full and also off.
3. Check the media calibration is set to printer and is set correctly.
4. Perform the print and cut adjust for feed and environment match.

Re: Need new blade holder?

Hi,

It could be down to the blade holder, initially you could try lubricacting the blade holder, have a look at this help guide.

Also there are two types of holder, the plastic and metal, the metal ones are more accurate.

Re: "print & print & cut" function

Hi Hub, I've tried to do this before, in theory you could do a cut only with return to origin and then print, but this automatically feeds through before printing the job, what you could do is determine the amount of feed and counter it prior to sending the job, although this may not be accurate eno...

Re: Print - Cut going out of alignment

Hi Nick,

When you change the job from Print Only to Cut Only, ensure that you do not change any of the settings that may alter the width, such as "Get media Width".

Re: Print - Cut going out of alignment

Hi,

When setting the job up for print and cut, ensure your not getting the media width and also when printing it's not centered on media.

Could be the media slipping, so slow down the upspeed, and also the cutting speed.
