Every VersaCAMM since SP-300V has come bundled with VersaWorks for print-cut applications. You can get a copy from your local Roland office. Do not install from the disc that came with the machine. It is VERY old and incompatible with today's Windows installations.

Actually I think I already have Versa works V2.4 but never used it cause flexi worked my gx500. The flexi 8 im running will has presets for the sp300v and sp300 but not the sp300i but I cant let the software decide what machine I run.

VersaWorks will only drive the GX cutter complimentary to the printer. So you can't just cut a file on it. You add a print/cut job in VersaWorks, print it and if you want to cut it on the GX cutter instead of built-in one you just drag the printed job on the cutter and that's it.

Will refer back to that when I get to have a play with Versaworks but I think I will end up running each machine on a separate laptop / PC once I have a printer

@mrtn
How does this look to you? Its the test print I was waiting for from the SP300i that I can buy for £2750.
Looks good to me but Im simply unsure and seems a sensible price for the machine.
Thanks again for all your help

Something wrong with the cyan channel. Ask for a nozzle test print.

Is it press Function, go Down to cleaning, Right to Test print then Enter to perform the nozzle check as I think thats what he was trying to show, makes a big difference that you know what your looking for as it looked good to me.
Cheers
