Can the Roland BN 20 Print on normal 200-400gsm paper?

Post by player82 » Sat Aug 17, 2019 8:50 pm

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, but have a quick question(which might be a stupid one), but I'm setting up a print studio to sublimation printing and vinyl . I wanted to also offer poster printing and business cards, I was wondering if the BN 20 could print these on normal paper which I would then use a guillotine to cut? Or do you think I should invest in seperate printer for this, and if so please could you suggest one?

Many thanks in advance.

Patrick

You would need a digital coated paper to be able to print with the BN-20 due to the ECO solvent inks, thw normal papers are aimed at pigmented inks.
