LEF 20 on curved surface

Post by tommyd » Fri Jan 17, 2014 11:48 pm

Hi,

I am interested in printing on plastic plates with the LEF 20. These plates have rounded edges and are about 4mm think. I'd like to be able to print on the whole surface. In other words, the entire top of the plate all the way to the bottom of the edge curve. I don't need the printing on the curved part to be as sharp as the rest of the plate. I am writing because I read about problems when the curve is over 2mm.

Thank you in advance,
Tom

Hi Tom,

It would need to be trialed to determine if it works correctly, or if the distance would be too great causing an overspray effect.

Hi Tom,

I agree with Kai, it would probably be worth sampling. I've done this for a few companies looking at raised edges as an issue. It could be possible as there are a couple of options to try but definitely worth a trial. Let me know if I can be of any assistance at all.

Kind Regards,

Chris
