LEF-300 White Ink Problem

Post by Xiaoqi1983 » Fri May 15, 2020 3:23 am

White ink seems flow back overnight. Next day berfore print job i must first perform cleaning one or two times to let ink pump pump some ink otherwise the print head will not eject white ink.

Replaced damper, still the same. I noticed that it takes a lot of effort to draw the ink into damper. The machine has been used for about three years. Possible white tube clogged? Im not sure be best way to solve this problem. Is maintenance solution rinse work? or i must replacement or ink tube? Is there any official guidance, how often should replace the ink tube?

Instead of replacing the lines I would look to do an ink renewal which uses cleaning fluid to clear out the White line, have a look at page 198 of the user manual under advanced maintenance.

It could also show a sign that one of the the pumps needs replacement.

You have the main pumps and the circulation pump, I would have thought it would be down to the main pump rather than the circulation one, but an engineer would be better to determine which is causing the issue.

You are so right! it is the pump! the pump or pump assy, i didn’t dig just replaced full set. No problems now.

Thanks a lot!
