Roland XR-640 match color printing issue

Post by prod_lumigraf » Mon Oct 22, 2018 5:01 pm

Hello everyone, here are the tests done on the 2 printers Roland XR-640 in service mode. In terms of colors, it looks alike is more in terms of rendering on vinyl that it differs ...
in the case of the XR-640 # 1 we see + the heads passes (XR-640 is the printer with the right color)

and for the XR-640 # 2, the surface is much smoother (as if there were + thick ink) and the head passes are less noticeable.

The Lumi-Onyx Model (Lancian Gray) is the same used in the first tests and resulted with another PC and another version of VersaWork 5.5.1 is the same. The XR-640 printer # 1 prints the right color and the printer XR-640 # 2 prints far too pink, even when changing computer and software (VersaWork), the result is the same.
I know i must look very specific but does anyone have a clue of this issue??

Are you using Roland inks?
The new version of VersaWorks being released at the end of the month will have a feature for getting consistent colour across multiple devices, that may help! :ugeek:
