email from Lawrence Hebron

Post by Bowber » Tue Jun 18, 2019 11:41 am

Hi, I've received an email from a Lawrence Hebron with a link to a wetransfer file with a vague bit of text and a reference to new.inv. pdf 55.4kb.htm
All seems a bit strange to me, I've not bought anything from Roland for a start (I did receive some upgraded waste bottles for our SG540) also it's very generic so I'm assuming it's a spoof/phishing email with a link to a corrupt file?

Unless you've been dealing with Lawrence directly, I would treat it as spam.

I guessed as much, I'll delete it.

On a slightly related note, I get suppliers who email me their invoices but the subject line has no reference to who they are or what the email is about, it makes it very hard to spot them in among the usual spam emails that get through the filter.
