Want to etch or print on plastic

Post by PT123 » Sun Jun 28, 2020 8:30 am

I am new here but frequent here a fair bit looking for inspiration!! I am wanting to either print or etch symbols on to plastic part (buttons) as part of a car restoration Project

What Roland printers or etchers could do this for me. Have been looking mpx-95 and lef-12 printers

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

Thanks

Paul

What parts are you looking to work with?

From your brief description sounds like either could work, the MPX-95 is a maybe...depending on the material. If not the DE-3 may be suitable for engraving. The LEF would be great solution for full colour (and more basic stuff). Do you have a pic of the parts?

Hi thanks the part are control switches. In particular window switches and abs buttons. I will take a photo over the weekend of the part I am trying to restore.

Essentially the symbols need reapplying or etching. The buttons are white plastic with a black plastic coating
