Post by bizmckenzie » Thu Nov 10, 2011 5:39 pm

Hi

I've been asked to print wall stickers and was wondering if someone can advise me on which is the best vinyl to use. I,m thinking i'll print multicolour on digital vinyl possibly 2 year. Am i on the right lines and which would be the best product???

Hi,

I would use Phototex http://www.phototex.co.uk as it is quite cool stuff. Their sales manager is Marc Jenkin and I think he is on here..

Hi,

Phototex will offer you some real benefits over vinyl. Firstly is very easy to install at any size, also it won't damage the paint or wall lining beneath when removed. It can be cut to virtually any shape you need and it works extremely well using almost every ink type. Phototex is easily repositioned should you decide to move things around at a later stage.

Please feel free to contact me as it's always good to discuss things in detail.

Best wishes

Marc,
To go along with the Wall Stickers, do you do anything which will apply to carpet and if so what sort of durability it has? The reason I ask is that this could tie in good with the wall stickers to carry the design onto the floor?

Thank you as well for your ongoing support on the Forum.

We do offer carpet film which has a specific laminate film to protect and help the vinyl perform at its best. Its a temporary vinyl for use on short pile carpets. Adam, if this is a product you would like display down at the Roland Creative Center let me know, I can try to come up with a display version for you.

It works very well with solvent, eco solvent, UV and other ink types. After use its easily removable, whilst offering retail outlets an excellent way to maximuse thier advertising space.

If anyone would like me to discuss the product then please let me know, we're here to help.

Best wishes
