Another great example of guerrilla marketing, utilising traditional print with some simple electronics, relatively easy to produce but with a high impact value! The only thing I would have changed is have the following billboard designed to look like a mock up advert for a glossy celebrity magazine, when the flashes were triggered a small digital camera hidden in the billboard could capture the image which is then displayed on the cover of the magazine on the following billboard, ideally with a web-address where people could download their photograph. After they submit a little CRM information for marketing/sales purposes, naturally.
I am very tempted to propose we create something like this to greet our guests at the Roland HQ.
