Horizontal Roller Marks

Post by wickedwatcher » Fri Apr 13, 2018 5:29 am

Hello helpful people.

I have developed an issue with my pinch rollers on the Roland LEJ 640 UV printer. The rollers are definitely not dirty, has they have been cleaned... however that only seemed to increase the problem.
The media on the attached photo is Foamed PVC palight 3mm. The roller marks don't seem to appear on any other colours other then the pale yellow.

Does anyone have any thoughts and tips on what I can do to resolve these marks. At a real lose on what this is.

Please and thank you.

P.S Photo isn't great but best I could get. Very hard marks to pick up on photos.

It is likely caused by static, have you got a anti static bar fitted to the machine?

Also it could be caused by the rubber at the back of the machine, you can easily check this by applying some masking tape to the rubber so it slides on the material.
