Semi rigid material?

I am looking to do some A4 semi rigid outdoor signs on my BN-20, they need to be about 1mm thick. What would be the cheapest way to do this? Would I print onto self adhesive vinyl and mount onto a semi rigid sheet or would I be better to print onto a semi rigid material and can anyone recommend material for the job?

Print on an adhesive vinyl and then apply to the rigid material.

I've only seen one digitally printable plastic previously and you have to laminate it anyway.

Thanks, what rigid material do you recommend, it needs to be about 1mm thick but I don't want it to be brittle?

It’s for caution signs on external racking, they had laminated paper signs previously from someone else but they got wet so they’re looking for something waterproof but very cheap.

probably too late but PETG is a good in expensive material for such things, we print directly ont this using our roland lef-300 but could also be used as a backer.
or polycarbonate is a cheaper option https://www.theplasticshop.co.uk/polyca ... thick.html
