Eco-Sol Max 2 White Ink.

Post by GreatSigns » Mon Sep 30, 2019 5:31 pm

Hello I have a Roland VS-540i with the white ink option.
Quite a while back I removed the white ink and replaced it with a clear ink cartridge because we were not using the white and it was all being lost into the waste container.... The clear cartridges are far cheaper ;)

Now I was thinking about switching it back to white because I have some jobs that require the white ink.
My Questions:
1. Can I just remove and replace the clear with the white and purge that line to get the white ink back into the system?
2. What would the process be to do the above question if it is possible?
3. Would the white ink that I removed about 4 - 5 years ago still be good to use because the cartridge is still 75% full?

Please advise..
Dennis

Remove the CL cartridge and then insert a new White cartridge, the line will need filling again, so several cleans will be needed to refill it.

I wouldn't use the old cartridge due to the settlement of the ink and the length of time since you last used it.
