Primer LEF 20 EU4 ink
Primer LEF 20 EU4 ink
I am looking for a good primer for plastics and metal for LEF 20, since a couple of months we used on The LEF 20 the EUV4 ink, our LEF 12 we used the EUV ink. We are very happy with the EUV ink and better then the EUV4. Now i am looking for good primer, who can help me?

Hi Sir,
can we purchase this nazdar bond v2 or Sim plastic adhesive from you?
we are currently using lef-300 .It seem that the current batch of roland primer do not work so well with tins and plastic bottles.
best regards
Daniel

Re: Primer LEF 20 EU4 ink
We have 3 LEF-20 and changed the ink from EUV to UV4 last October. Since then we got lots of claims from customers saying that the ink can easily be removed with a finger nail. Our dealer told us that we need to change to UV4 as it is more environmental friendly and has lower price.
After changing to uv4 ink we had lots of claims and had to waste so much row material. Damage is high above 10000EUR without considering our image.
Today I went to the country rep of Roland and we did a lot of tests with old EUV and new uv4 ink.
EUV ist more reliable and we now have to roll back all our 3 machines to EUV ink to avoid further troubles.
This is not a general statement as we use special reflective fabric. But be aware of simply changing to uv4 ink.
Roland told me that EUV ink will still be available as several customers have similar issues and EUV ink will not be removed from market.
Some of you asked for a good primer. We tried several ones. The new primer that comes in the LEF200 or LEF300 was not suitable for us.
I highly recommand metal primer from Bohle: https://www.bohle-group.com/en-gb/produ ... er?c=39149
It is very expensive but for us it was the only solution in conjunction with new uv4 ink.

Re: Primer LEF 20 EU4 ink
That's correct. EUV is more aggressive and bonds better but it's also harder for consumable parts. Follow the service schedule religiously.
