Media Wrinkles (bubbling) versacamm vp540

Post by Genesissigns » Thu May 17, 2018 8:44 am

I am having a problem where anytype of media i put on the machine it starts to wrinkle. Weather its Digital Vinyl of Digital Banner. This causes the vinyl to hit the head of the printer. Ive put the vacuum to 100% and lowered the temp to the lowest (30c) both print and dryer but it has not solved the problem. Anyyy thoughts ?

Is the material stored in the same room as the printer?

The media may need time to aclimatise to the machines environment.

Can you show some photos of what is happening?

It looks like the media has become damp and is lifting, have you tried with a much higher heat?

Have you ever replaced the outer pinch rollers? It may not be the main culprit but worn pinch rollers can’t track the media perfectly, allowing it to shift inwards.
