BN-20 Pinch Error & Self-Clean Problem

Post by InrDmons » Mon Feb 26, 2018 6:09 pm

So I tried selling my BN-20 to a family member who could no longer pay me for it. I recently got it back after 3 months and when I tested it at their house, it was giving me a pinch roller error. Everything looked like it was setup how I used it daily, but it wouldn't get rid of it. I was using 20in rolls and the pinch roller was over the textured grip area. As soon as it comes off standby and would go to the far left, it would start beeping and give me the error.

Also, I noticed after the first 2 days that I never heard the machine doing the self&clean so I put a glue stick near the left pinch roller to see if the print head in fact moved to the far left during its cleaning. It hasn't budged in ocer 24h

There were issues with pinch roller sensors in early BN-s.

Needs sensor replacement.
