LEF300. Image stripes

Post by WillForce » Wed Feb 13, 2019 11:58 am

Good afternoon guys! I have recently had this problem: printed image in stripes. Photo attached.

Also, a halo appears around the image.

It looks like the head alignments need to be adjusted by an engineer. That would be causing the misalignment of the magenta around the black.

You mean 4-4 HEAD ALIGNMENT, in the service manual?

Yes, which should only be carried out by a trained engineer.

I called the engineer service. He did the tests, and said that this is all right.

The only thing that the test lacks two nozzles. On magenta and cyan

It's likely the nozzle drop-out causing the stripes.

Is it possible because of two nozzles such strips?
I can not clear this head. Tried to tamp the sole, but to no avail. Soaked in liquid for 2 days, also did not give the result.

Could be, Try printing solid blocks of CMYK only (use the Roland colour systems library to make sure) and see if they appear in Y&K as you have nozzles missing in C&M...that'll tell you.

Unfortunately that's right.

Any minimal clogging in the print head will affect the print.

I have a Lef 12i and have the same problem.
