TCT show 2015 on stand J16 at the NEC, Birmingham, on the 30th September to the 1st of October; bringing together both 3D and print products to show how a combination of technology can deliver extremely realistic appearance models and fully functional prototypes.Roland DG will be once again attending the
Says Peter Kettle, Business Development Manager for 3D, “TCT is one of the most successful, and therefore, important shows in our 3D calendar. It affords an excellent opportunity for anyone involved in product development to see exactly what innovative and versatile products Roland DG has to offer.”
The Modela Pro II MDX-540 benchtop mill, Roland DG’s flagship prototyping machine, will be the star attraction on the stand. The ideal designer’s companion, with the ability to provide precision and smooth surface finishes in modelling board, plastics, wood and light metals with little time or effort required. The MDX-540 can produce models that survive physical, structural and thermal testing; popular in industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, manufacturing & industrial, where functional prototypes can be put to test in the field.
The smaller but no less impressive Modela MDX-40A will also be present on the stand, offering smaller businesses, schools or those with the need to create small-scale projects an affordable, compact milling solution with high precision on a range of materials including chemical woods, acrylic, plaster, nylon, styrene and many medical grade materials including PEEK.
Distinctive in their bright orange bodies, Roland DG’s monoFab pair – the ARM-10 and SRM-20 – will be returning to TCT for a second time after great success on their first outing. Offering a full 3D solution, both additive and subtractive, monoFab is ideal for education and prototyping settings. By combining the merits of both technologies, users do not have to restrict their creativity to the production constraints of one device.
Finally, representing Roland DG’s highly successful print sector is the VersaCAMM VS-300i, demonstrating the benefit of graphics to the TCT market – allowing quick, easy application to models as wraps, waterslides and decals to mimic final production to a high standard.
