Complete newb. Egx-350

Post by Turtle2 » Wed Sep 16, 2020 4:11 am

Hello all, came onboard the forum in hopes of finding some more info. I recently acquired an egx 350 for free and have most of the paperwork, pendant , cables, etc. they told me that the CD software computer got lost with ownership changes. What are my options for the programming/controls? I am familiar with CNC a little in my plasma and mills and figure this isn’t far off but still needed a g code generator/post.

I have been looking for details all night and all I can tell is that the 350 used a specific engrave studio software. There is littw info on this and availability is... zero?

Please any info helps thanks

Speak to your local RolandCare team, if your UK based then it's 01275 335540, they can send you a download of the final EngraveStudio installer and any applicable updates. You can also download the driver from - http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/3d.html#egx350

Thanks again. I got it working with dr engrave software. Drivers load it as a printer and engravestudio won’t see it connected. Thoughts?

If you are using Windows 10, just ensure EngraveStudio is on the very latest version
