Hi,
Recently when I'm trying to print with the MPX-90 printer it doesn't print the first few lines of the image I want to print. I've changed the head cap, re-calibrated and tried printing from the bottom but nothing seems to work.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks,
Martin
MPX-90 Printing problem
Re: MPX-90 Printing problem
Have you tried re-calibrating the print head? If not try the calibration but failing this is could be a head failure or potentially a fault with a head cable.

How do I go about checking the head cable?
Re: MPX-90 Printing problem
Just look inside the workings of the machine and check that none of the cables are unseated or look crimped.

Re: MPX-90 Printing problem
I had this problem, I also know someone else that did.
Roland will insist that your head needs replacing.... It doesn't!.... I took the head apart, the end of the pin that is inside the casing seems to get stuck within the white cylindrical part, carefully release it, then clean all parts and reassemble!

Thanks. I shall have a look at that as it is still happening.
