Thanks Renniwano, with our items, there not always the same thickness so just the slightest bit out and it is leaving part of the engraving shallow. We aren't using the nose cone at the moment as everything I've tried with it it is just scratching the items and making them unusable. The issue is what use to be an easy job is now taking us quite some time. Does anyone else have any other solutions???

To recap, we're engraving into tags (Metal, alloy), spinning a cutter as to get a deeper engraving as the diamond drag wont go deep enough. The issue is the tags are all different heights as only has to be out a little bit and get varying engraving depths. I need to get a nose cone solution so it will do the same depth in 1 pass instead of having to adjust and readjust any letters not engraved properly.

Very frustrating this is to fix :(

I din't quite understand what 'ghosting' means. Maybe some one could help with picture?
