PNC-2300A Problem

Post by Tomomo » Sat May 23, 2015 8:02 pm

I have a problem with my engraving machine, Roland PNC-2300A.

When I turn on, the fuse of main board has blown. The fuse is slow blow type, T6.3L 250v.
I am getting new one

I tried using other slow blow type, 250V 8A that I have, but it blown.
I took the wiring off except power trans and main board though, it didn't work.

It means the power trans has broken?
After measuring trans with BANDO BD21F2-0002 the red line of No.1 and No.2 pin is 30v, the orange line of No.3 and No.4 is about 8v.
Is it normal?

If it has broken, I would like to look for a substitute. But I don't know about the spec of power trans.
Could you tell me some advice?

Thank you

Hello Tomomo,

Please can you contact our technical services regarding this. As the PNC2300A is a legacy machine we may not have all the information to hand imidiately.

Hi Tomomo, I face exactly the same problem with my Roland EGX-300. How did you solve the problem? I appreciate your advice very much. Thank you.
