Techsoft TS400 Main Board - looking for

Post by paolo8453 » Tue Jun 25, 2019 5:44 pm

I'll post this for any future visitors to the forum. Or any visitors from the future! 8-)

Anyone that is breaking a TS-400 give me a shout as I'm after a main board.

Cheers

The main board doesn't power up. Power actually comes via the spindle board but I've swapped the spindle board out for a known working one and still nothing.

The main board is pristine with no damage or dodgy soldering to be seen anywhere. It just stopped working.

If I could get the spec for the brushless motors from Roland I'd just do a retrofit with some drivers and motion controller.

UPDATE - Roland flatly refuse to give the specs of the motors. This machine was obsolete long ago so what's the problem with giving out useful information? I guess they'd rather users just skip their old machines rather than fix them. I expected more from Roland...
