SRM-20 ia a fine compliment to your Prototyping desktop.

Post by Patrick Thorn » Fri Oct 31, 2014 12:23 pm

Since the MDX-15 was born in 1999 and the MDX-20 followed soon after, they have appeared in their 1,000's on designer desktops, in movie modelmakers, jewellers and many other places. They have been used as is and intended, plus modified for all sorts of applications, like test dialling mobile phones (when they had buttons), laying down glue, digitising prosthetic ears and many things we could have never imagined.

The new monofab series of SRM-20 and ARM-10 have recently been launched and both machines have been widely accepted by all types of makers.

SRM-20 is a MDX-20 redesigned to go a little faster, give you easier access to the working area, less buttons, well we have one to turn it on, plus a VPanel interface for the included Roland 2D and 3D software outputting RML and of course you can use your own CAM using standard ISO NC G-Codes. In my opinion, and others, its perfect if your a beginner with now cutting knowledge or a professional CNC worker who knows their G's from their M's. With a few clicks of the mouse, set your tool and workpiece, then your part is made. Our included Virtual Modela software even calculates the cutting times before you start.

Here is a little Youtube clip of a 2 sided part we made at a recent show, showing a range of materials you can cut.
