Well hello!

Post by tim_in_bolton » Wed Oct 12, 2011 5:39 pm

Hi all.

I teach aspects of CADCAM and use a Bridgeport Interact 412 with a Heidenhain TNC155 controller (how old is that!?) and an MDX-40A (occasionally fitted with a ZCL-40 rotary axis unit) but normally with a TechSoft Self-centring vice.

I suppose I'll have to pop in here now as well as at the Roland DG Group on Yahoo!

Cheers, Tim.

Hi Tim,
Welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.
Not sure I'll be able to help much with the older machine but it is always interesting to get perspective from someone who uses multiple machines.

Also, would any of your students be interested in the Creative Awards? As well as a good grade then they may be able to win something too...
