Roland CX24 and contour cutting laser eye

Post by kion » Wed Mar 28, 2012 5:33 pm

Hi

Could somebody confirm whether the laser registration feature (for contour cutting) is fitted as standard on the CX-24 camm-1? This particular cutter has the old serial 25 pin connector and a parallel connector.

Thanks in advance!

Hi and thanks for the post.

The optical eye was not a standard fitment on the CX-24 but it was an optional upgrade so some models may have it and others not. This upgrade is no longer available I'm sorry to say so the best option would be to look at an upgrade to the GX-24 which features the optical eye as standard.

Full details of the GX-24 can be found on our website Roland DG and if you have any questions then please don't hesitate to let me know.

Now it makes more sense to get the new GS-24, because it's awesome. Newly designed structure and lots more downforce.
