Hi.

Has anyone used this on an Eco Sol machine. Trying it on my VP540 but the ink doesn't seem to be laying down properly, just scrapping off. Also, when trying to peel off backing paper with application tape it doesn't come off too easy?

Any ideas,

Cheers,

Neil.

Hi Neil,

It's not a media code that I have seen before, which manufacturer does it come from?

Hi

I've not used the EZ107 media so can't comment, I have used siser c-print pu and soldark.

I don't know which is best... But there's one way to find out...

FIGHT!!

I have used other EZ media and found them a little problematic (mainly laser papers during life before versacamm)

Regards

Mal

Hi Neil,

I had look at their website, but they don't have a spec sheet for that media.

What profile and heater settings have you tried ?

Afternoon All, I am pretty confident that EZ trans is in the main a Laser Printer product and I also see that Mal has the same thought as well.

Let me do some digging.

Thanks chaps.

Reason I tried it was because it states it was suitable for Eco Sol printers, however I've trid printing using the TTRH Garment Heat Transfer (as I use this for Soldark) but it seems to be a bit powdery and scratches off very easily? The guy at EZtrans said to try using a profile that doesn't lay too much ink down? Any thoughts, bearing in mind it must be able to cut also?

Thanks again.

Neil.

The material supplier is suggesting that a profile that lays down little ink might be advisable? What would be the best one for this that allows contour cutting also?

Cheers,

Neil.

Hi Neil,

I would start with a media type such as matte paper (GPPM) and if this is still too ink heavy, in Media Explorer, make a copy of the media.

Then adjust the ink levels down to an acceptable amount, you can test this by printing the ink level chart.

This should get you a better result, just remember to not drop the ink levels too low as the colour will be less.
