SP540V / Versaworks connection problem

Hi I am having so much trouble connecting my SP 540v to versaworks. I have run Intercon net tool and the Ip address of the printer pops up fine but when I input that into the wizard and press finish, it gives me the message of "no response from print server"

I have been running fine for the last few months but upgraded my computer to windows 8.1

I have also tried putting the ip address into versaworks and it comes up again with the message that it can't connect.

If I go through windows I can see the printer so I know that it is connected and is working but I just cant seem to connect to versaworks.

Desperate for help

Pretty please - upgrade to Windows 10.

8.x is not supported even by Microsoft.

What's your computer IP?
What's the VersaWorks version? Has to be 5.x.
