Help with software

Hi

Downloaded Versaworks from the official page on Roland website.

Each time I try to start the software It just clicks off.

Anyone got any ideas ?

I’ve registered the machine with Roland on there website

Running it on windows xp pro laptop

I am guessing it is because its XP....

There's no VersaWorks for the Mac OS.
It's a Windows only thing.

Version 4.80 of VersaWorks (which is not the latest version)
Shows a system requirement for XP as:
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 or later (32-bit edition/64-bit edition)

What version did you download?

XP Pro is not supported with the 5.51 edition of VersaWorks, an earlier version of 4.8 is supported.

Just installed the original software -

All starts up

But I go to print it says

Printer is disconnected

Selected job “1” is cancelled
Please check the cause


Can anyone help

Check the IP address settings on both the PC and printer.

What’s the best PC operating system for the downloaded version of versaworks from Roland website .


Going to get a new laptop today .
