Until the update is released you won't be able to use the machine with your current configuration.

You could use the machine with an older version of Illustrator or use CutStudio on a PC, as this is a full software program, not just a Plug-in.

There are also 3rd party plug-in's for Illustrator, although i'm unsure whether they also support the latest version.

I have Illustrator CC (mac). I downloaded the plugin for CC for MAC and it doesn't seem to work. Every time i start up illustrator CC i get a message saying "Error loading plugins"
I have the CutStudio plugin in the illustrator CC plugin folder.

If you have the latest version of CC, as per my previous posts this is not yet supported.

Have you got CutStudio installed as well as the plug-in for Illustrator, in order for it to work on Windows you need both installed.

Hi, I've read this entire thread and still can't find a fix for my problem. Really hoping you can help...

I've just purchased a new GX-24 and believe I've installed everything correctly and am able to run a test cut from the cutter, but when I try to cut a file sent from my computer it says "sending data" but nothing more happens even after an hour wait.

I'm using the GX-24 with:
MacBook Pro
OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5
Illustrator CC 18.1.1 (trial version to ensure it works with my set-up before I buy)
Extension Manager CC
Roland plug-in 1.80
Have put the folder from the supplied disc into my Applications folder
Am using a longer USB cable than the one supplied but it is plugged directly into the MacBook

UPDATE: gee I feel really stupid now! realised the cutter was waiting to be told if the media was a piece or roll!

I have installed the Cutstudio Plugin for CS6 and the plugin is in the plugins main folder and it shows installed in extension manager but it is not coming up in the windows menu as explained in the video. Can you suggest any solutions and I have a teacher wanting to use it with their cutter and he is anxious :-) for it to be working

Thanks
