Any update on when you will release a version of CutStudio that is compatible with Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 for OS X (it is now October)?

As Adobe has now removed the extension manager, plugins are no longer supported. In future all plugins will have to be applications in order for them to work.

With the latest version of the CutStudio plugin you can follow this work-around in order to install it.

Can you please explain that workaround better. Version 1.9.0 is no longer available for download from that link and when I download version 1.8.0 plus the Exman command line tool they both unzip to folders with multiple files in them. Do I put both folders ("contents" and "CutStudioAI_Plug-in_Mac_V180_ENG")on the desktop? Then how do I open terminal with administrator rights? (I am using Mac OS 10.11.2 El Capitan) When I type ~cd/Desktop and press enter it just says

-bash: cd~/Desktop: No such file or directory

Thanks

I'm using Illustrator CC 2014 on El Capitan. I've installed ver 1.70 of the plugin. Nothing happens when I try to output using the printer button on the plugin window. The instructions say to copy a 'CutStudio' folder into applications but there is no folder in the zip file.

Try re-downloading the plugin, you should have the CutStudio folder to copy into the Applications folder.

Hello Kai,

I am having an issue with installing the CutStudio plugin onto Illustrator CC 2015 on my Windows 10 machine - I am assuming your workaround is for Macs - is there a pc version of the exmancmd tool at all?

Thanks
Teresa

edit - I found it...
https://www.adobeexchange.com/resources/28

but, I had an issue installing it...
ExManCmd.exe /install CutStudioPlugIn.zxp
Failed to install, status = -411!

can anyone help me with this at all? Installing on windows.
thanks.

edit again, 24 hours later!
Would still like to get a fix on this if there is one, however, I have found a workaround...
Save my illustrator file to Illustrator 8, then import into cutstudio.

Currently there is not a working version available for CC 15, Japan are working on an application for the CC App store, the only work around is as you have found to use an Illustrator 8 Eps or to use CC 14.

Thank you Kai. I am learning to use the Illustrator Path tools more rather than rely on the cutstudio plugin as I used to do! :)

Try without the space between exe and /

like this

ExManCmd.exe/install CutStudioPlugIn.zxp
