SP-300V 11659218 -00 HOLDER,I/C SC-500

Post by Geoffhogarth » Tue Feb 05, 2019 9:50 pm

I bought a "project" SP-300V that was not printing at all, and had a few other faults, fuse etc. I have got the printer printing perfectly now but it was not reading 3 out of 4 cartridges in the service menu.

Having stripped down the ink cartridge slots, I found 3 out of 4 ink junction boards had most of the legs broken off and laying below the slots. Apart from this, there has been an lot of old ink/solvent spills and 3 out of 4 of the Roland part 11659218 -00 HOLDER,I/C SC-500 are severely distorted (melted) on the top black plastic parts, the inks are well solid, almost like plastic (see the pics).

I am wondering, is it possible to buy individual parts for these assemblies to avoid buying the whole assembly?

From ourselves the part is a single component.
