MPX 90 contour misalignment

Post by gorsius » Tue Jan 23, 2018 3:08 pm

We have two MPX-90's. One contours perfectly but the other has a misalignment issue we have never been able to fix.

The problem machine engraves images and fill text fine. However when it comes to the line/contour function it doesn't line up correctly.

Attached is a test engraving. You will notice the head test engraving has odd text. It doesn't look the same as our other machine. Below this is fill text, fill and contour text and finally line fill text.

Reinstalled software, regularly greased moving parts and this happens through several head swap.

any idea's?

It looks like there may be a break in one of the cables, causing the pattern to be printed incorrectly.

thanks for the info. Is there any specific wires to look at? Any idea if it would be head or motor related?

What are the options to send it off and get it serviced and tested?
