GX-24 Cutter - Cutting halfway up and only on the X-Axis

Post by oliolioli » Wed Feb 21, 2018 11:40 pm

Hi Guys,

Having some trouble with my GX-24 Roland cutter, Just done a fresh install of windows 7 and installed Corel 12. Correct driver installed etc.

When send the design to print its rolling the vinyl out about a meter up, and just cutting along the X-Axis in a straight line, left and right, rather than actually cutting the logo.

Ive tried just getting it to cut a circle or a basic shape at the bottom left, but it still shoot the sheet out the front and cuts way up at the top, left and right, only on the X-Axis.

Any ideas? My sheet on corel is set up at 475mm x 1600mm and when i print->properties and get the measurements from the machine it matches with the sheet size ive set up on corel.

It worked perfectly before, not sure whats happening!

Thanks in advance guys!

Oli

Does the self test on the machine work?

This will help to determine whether it is just software or hardware.

With your page set in Corel, if you have your design at the top of the page, just try putting it at the bottom of the page limits, or vice versa.
