Getting a X-Y plotter working with Windows 7

Post by lloyb » Thu Mar 15, 2018 12:09 am

Hello Hello, I have a Roland DXY-1200 X-Y Plotter, Its old but its lovely.
I'm currently trying to get it working with my PC but I can't seem to find anything online to help.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to do?
I have a serial to USB cable and a Serial modem cable running into the plotter. The plotter works as ive done the test print.

I just need to get my PC to talk to it. any tutorials I've found all talk about linux or some other scripting thing.

Hi,

What software are you trying to drive it from?
