Lef 200 How to print with opened cover?

Post by Lecram » Sun Dec 09, 2018 6:50 pm

Sometimes, it could be necessary to print with the cover open, when I want to print on larger objects. I have seen some vids on YT where people were printing with opened cover. My Lef 200 does not allow that. Is there a work around to occasionally print with open cover?

You would need to defeat the interlock on the door. I cannot imagine that the mods would allow a discussion on here about this. I have not done it, but it would be pretty simple I think.

Due to the nature of health and safety running with the cover open when printing exposes the user to the UV light contamination, it can also cause issue with the curing of objects.
