MDX-40 stopping part way through job?

Post by Safa » Wed Mar 23, 2016 4:37 pm

sometimes my MDX-40 stops part way through a job - using Dr Engrave. The cutter is still turning, but the spindle head is 'frozen'.

If I look at the status of the job, it still shows as 'printing'.

If I press view and open cover, the head goes back to 0 / 0.

Sometimes, when I have switched power off and then back on, the machine operation continues.

Does anyone have a suggestion of why this is happening?!

thank you, Stefano

The most likely culprit for this is the PC running the software, ensure that all power management and screensavers are disabled.
