If there an affordable vinyl printer (not cutter) around? iDecora seems to be a nice option to create your own outline decals (or other possibilities if you're really patient), but I'd prefer being able to print on adhesive vinyl.

Morning Slowpoke

Thanks for the message and if you are after an affordable printer, have you looked at the VersaStudio BN-20? The BN-20 is not only a printer but it has a vinyl cutter built in to it so you get print & cut all in one automated device - the best of both worlds!

The BN-20 uses the Roland EcoSol Max inks which are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications such as t-shirt transfers, stickers, labels, pvc banners, vehicle graphics, canvas prints and so much more. Special white and metallic inks can also be used with the BN-20, meaning that you can also do something a little different from the norm to make your work stand out. With a max media with of 20", it is big enough to accomodate lots of different types of jobs, but not so big that the machine can't be put in a the boot of a car and transported with ease...

The RRP for the machine is £5,499+vat, but if you were to look at a finance package to spread the payment costs, you'd probably be talking about £50 per week - or to put it another way printing and supplying 3 t-shirts and a banner per week to pay for the machine and make a profit!

Let me know if you'd like to find out more about the BN-20, if you can always visit the upcoming Printwear and Promotion exhibition (24th - 26th Feb at the NEC) to have good look at the machine in the flesh.

Hope this helps and have a good day.

Thanks. Can't justify that much for maybe one printout every month or so, if that.
