Hello Folks,

just to let you all know that both the 2.35 & 3.00 spindles are now showing for sale on the iModela.co.uk website, at the bottom of the 'Spare Parts', page.

Just got my imodela today, now looking to buy the 3mm spindle replacment (seems better value than spending £22 on one off 2.35mm
pcb cutter from cool components)

From http://www.techsoft.co.uk/products/tool ... g-routing/
"Once fitted and datumed, a locating ring can be fitted to a tool, to allow it to be easily removed and replaced without the need for re-datuming"

Can someone explain what the "Locating Rings" are for and what on earth is "daturning" ?

No mention of the "locating rings" on the iModela spares page.

Thanks.

Locating rings would be a little sleeve that goes arround the tool that lock on at the speciffic height. That way when you can set all the tools at the start of the job to the correct height, then when you change them over you do not have to change the Z axis datum point.
