Joe's 3 C's (#23)

Post by Joe Wigzell » Thu May 09, 2013 4:07 pm

Hi hey hello,

Welcome to another of 'Joe's 3 C's' :D

In these posts I will try to bring you something Creative, Something Cool and something Commercial.
The format for these 3 things will vary, from images, videos and websites to unique applications, tips tricks and tutorials. Mostly print or 3D related but some things may be thrown in just because they ought to be shared (probably in the Cool part)!
There will probably be some terrible jokes thrown in at the end too!

Being a bit of a geek for all things design related, hopefully I'll be able to find some interesting bits and bobs to share with you!

Quote of the Day:
Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before.

-Mae West, American actress, singer, playwright, screenwriter and sex symbol

On this day in history:
1962 A laser beam is successfully bounced off the moon for the first time.

Something Creative...

I love this Creative use of print (newspapers in this case) for comedy value!
Something Cool...

Some of you may know that I ride a motorbike...I NEED one of these:

sooo Cool! If it was just for show and not for use on a bike I am sure that y ou could make something along the lines of this using one of our 3D machines such as the MDX 540!

Did you know that some of the original Darth Vader mask was made with a Roland!?...check out the story here

Something Commercial...

Using print in interesting ways to create a buzz and get your product seen is great - check out these 2 examples from a metro shoe laundry company:

That's all for this week from Joe's 3 C's!

Thank you for reading!

Joe's chuckles...

The police came to my door to search for the man who robbed the joke shop down the street.

But, when they saw the nail through my finger, they let me shoot off to the hospital.

And this weeks funny pic:
