Roland PNC 2300A

Post by famuel » Tue Jan 01, 2019 7:52 pm

I am looking at buying a Roland PNC 2300A to make nameplates for a vintage car I am restoring. Will this machine cut brass and can it produce raised letters rather than incised letters. I want to machine away the background not the letters.

You can cut brass with the right tool, it just depends how deep you intend to go, normally for brass it would be best for suface engraving.

Yeah it should be able to cut that deep, I have seen some samples from the EGX-300 of this output.

Dr. Engrave will work on all versions of Windows, you can download the latest update from - http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/3d.html#drengrave

The only issue you will have is that the PNC-2300A was last supported on Windows XP.
